قال أحدهم: خطّطتُ للخضوع للموت الرحيم قبل أكثر عشرين عامًا، ولكن كثرة ملهيات الحياة أشغلتني أو طمست؛ فحفزها العالم الأسترالي ديفيد، خضع لها عام ٢٠١٥، من هنا عادت الفكرة للحياة.
تعجبت كثيرا من نيته! وقد حفزني حديثه على التفكر في حال الإنسان الذي يضمر مثل هذه النية؛ فالعالم ديفيد سئم الحياة؛ لأن عمره تعدّى المئة عام، كيف لشخص متميز منذ أن كان في مقتبل العمر وهو يحقّق النجاح، وصنع لنفسه اسمًا وتحدّى الجميع ليثبت نفسه؛ كيف له أن يُخضع نفسه لما يُسمى بالموت الرحيم؟ هل الماضي له ارتدادات يجعلنا نتخذ هذه القرارات دون أن نهتم بمن حولنا؟! تعلمت أن الماضي ليس سوى صفحة طويت منذ أعوام، ولا يجب أن يؤثر في حاضرنا ومستقبلنا، ولا ينبغي لعاقل أن يستسلم له.
الموت الرحيم جريمة محرّمة في الأديان السماوية، ولم تشرّعها سوى دول معدودة، هل لكم أن تتخيلوا أحد الأشخاص يخبركم بأنه ذاهب إلى سياحة الموت الرحيم ولن تتمكن من منعه!
Some once said: I planned to undergo euthanasia more than twenty years ago, but with the many distractions of life, I got distracted from it, until the Australian scientist David reignited as he has undergone it in 2015.
I was amused by his intention! His words made me wonder about the people who harbored such an intention. The scientist David had had enough of life as his age crossed 100 years, but how can a young person who is achieving success in his life, and proven himself against all odds to want end their life in such a way? Does the past have repercussions that make us make these decisions without caring about those around us ?! I have learned that the past is only a page that has been turned for years. It should not affect our present and future, and no sane person should surrender to it.
Euthanasia is a forbidden act in some religions, and only a few countries have legalized it. Can you imagine a person telling you that they are going to euthanasia tourism and you can’t do anything to stop him!
